TNC Product Series
Developed in the late 1950s, the TNC stands for Threaded Neill Concelman and is named after Amphenol engineer Carl Concelman. Designed as a threaded version of the BNC, the TNC connector series features screw threads for mating. TNC connectors are miniature, threaded weatherproof series with a constant 50 Ω impedance and a frequency range of DC – 11 GHz. There are two types of TNC connectors: Standard and Reverse Polarity.
