Environmental Backshells

Environmental Backshells from Amphenol not only provide heavy cable support and strain relief but also protects the connection at the termination area with the sealing grommet and grommet follower. The strain relief nut is tightened – squeezing the grommet onto the cable jacket during assembly. These Backshells provide 6 feet water sealing protection when used with a perfectly jacketed cable and are suitable for harsh environment applications.
